Sarah Burke

Sarah Burke joined the firm as an associate in 2026 after working with the firm as a law clerk throughout law school. She first came to the firm in the summer of 2024, following her first year of law school, and continued working with the firm while completing her legal education. During that time, Sarah gained experience assisting the firm’s attorneys with a variety of matters, including business, municipal, commercial matters, and litigation defense.

Sarah graduated from the University of Tennessee in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, summa cum laude. She graduated from Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law in May 2026, magna cum laude. While there, Sarah achieved the Dean’s List multiple semesters and received CALI Awards in the subjects of Professional Responsibility and Decedents’ Estates.

Sarah is originally from Wise County, Virginia, but now calls Strawberry Plains, Tennessee home. Sarah lives there with her husband, Matthew, and beloved labrador retriever, Reba. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers.
